Dimitri Seto

A young hunter with great respect for nature and a deep love for his people. His peaceful village life will soon be changed forever when an old enemy from his family’s past comes back to haunt them. Whether he’s ready or not, Dimitri will have to accept his birthright and all that comes with it.
Damian Seto
Age: 50 | Gender: Male | Heritage: “This is your birthright, and your burden.”
Co-founder of Edin with his wife Vera, and Dimitri’s father. As a man with a strong sense of duty to both his family and the village, he pushes Dimitri (perhaps a little too hard) in an effort to better prepare him for the future. He will do anything to protect those he holds dear, even if it means that those same people resent him for it.
Vera Seto
Age: 48 | Gender: Female | Love: “You are more than enough just the way you are.”
Dimitri’s mother and the best hunter in the village. She is the heart of her family and always knows how to put Dimitri’s mind at ease while also cooling the rising tension between her husband and son. Known to be the perfect mixture of gentle and fierce.
Wyatt Kain
Age: 17 | Gender: Male | Loyalty: “It’s you and me against the world, right Bright Eyes?”
Village prankster and Dimitri’s best friend. Inseparable since childhood, the two are more like brothers and quick to cover for one another when their parents come calling. Wyatt is also quite adept at swordplay and has even bested his father Michael on a few occasions.
Liam Kain
Age: 38 | Gender: Trans Male | Sincerity: “Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.”
Blacksmith and head of village construction. Having transitioned a few months after Wyatt’s birth, he and Michael were driven from their old home for going against local customs. After being welcomed in openly by Damian and Vera, Liam vowed to make sure that the village’s blades and armor were well cared for and that the people had sturdy homes to call their own.
Michael Kain
Age: 40 | Gender: Male | Duty: “It is my responsibility to protect the village and all who dwell within it.”
Captain of the village guard. He arrived with his husband Liam and their son Wyatt a year after the village’s founding. A no-nonsense kind of guy, his seriousness may come off as harsh at times but it is all in an effort to ensure the safety of those around him. Michael would give his life to protect the home that welcomed him and his family in with open arms when they were in need all those years ago.
Keisha Brown
Age: 55 | Gender: Female | Grit: “Child, I’ve been doing this longer than you’ve been alive.”
The head cook of Edin and caretaker of the children in the village who have lost their parents. A real salt of the earth kind of woman, Keisha is quick to bop you over the head if you’re acting a fool and tell you like it is but also quick to lend a hand if you need help. One thing Keisha doesn’t abide by though is being interrupted while she’s cooking, so lord help you if you enter her kitchen without permission!
Eclipse
Age: ?? | Gender: Male | Hate: “All will be crushed beneath my heel.”
The ruler of the Black Sun Empire (formerly the kingdom of Sol-Ar.) An imposing figure covered head-to-toe in armor and wielding dark magic, Eclipse has used this power alongside his army to conquer many places, spreading his influence far and wide. While his hatred for the world runs deep, his hate for the Seto family is bottomless.
Faust
Age: ?? | Gender: Male | Obsession: “Anything for my liege.”
High mage of the Black Sun Empire and Eclipse’s second in command. Not much is known about this enigmatic figure aside from the fact that he wears a featureless mask, wields fierce dark magic, and is fanatically loyal to Eclipse. According to him, his liege’s word is law, leaving any who would defy Eclipse to meet a swift end.
